- Salmon Toban YakiBefore I start with my dine-out in November, I'd like to talk about my food-tasting event with other Sakae bloggers 2 months back.

On 12th October (If I remembered correctly, I can't really recall the date),
I went to *Scape for a food tasting event invited by Sakae organizers.
I was really excited when I receive the invitation ! Hehehe.

When I reached there, there were other bloggers as well.
So we exchanged a little and talked a lot.
I was a little quiet that day because most of the bloggers there were adults,
so I couldn't relate to most of the things that they're talking about.
Like when they talked about cooking for their husbands, hahahah.
I cannot say anything ma, cannot say I cook for ahbingo, hehehe.
So I keep quiet for most of the time and they mentioned that I'm really quiet!
Hehe, maybe it's good that I keep quiet sometimes, world peace (Y)

Here's the food-tasting event menu !
Sounds tempting right?
Just the name of the dishes makes feel hungry and anxious to see the food.
We were all talking about the food name as well.




First up was the
Maguro Carpaccio !!
(thinly sliced half tuna with special sauce)



Yumyum!
I'm someone who always, always say no to spring onions but for this dish,
I actually had the tuna together with the spring onions without any complaints!!
Very nice okay, hehe, very appetizing.
It doesn't taste very fishy, not a bit of that,
Just a little sweet and sour with the sauce, feels very light in your mouth.
I'm not a fan of Tuna, but this dish surely deserves my thumbs up (:
Next up we have the
Soft Shell Crab Salad !!(Soft shell crab, avocado, tomato with house dressing)




I like this appetite alot!
For people who find soft shell crab too 'oily' but you just love soft shell crab,
than this dish is just for you!
The combination of soft shell crab with the vegetables made this dish very special.
The mixture left the 'oiliness' of the soft shell crab out.
Making it taste fresh and tasty.
I almost ate everything in the bowl !
It's a really nice salad to choose, no joke no joke :3
Next,
Ebi Arare !!(Prawn tempura coated with rice crackers)





Prawn with rice cracker ?!?!
YES That was my reaction at first too!
Like 'how on earth do these combine?!?!'
Maybe I'm not born with the cooking talent, so I have all these strange thought.
But just look at the pictures above, interesting?
Firstly, I would like to compliment on the whole outlook of this dish.
Really nice appeals.
How does it taste?
Yummy and crispy!
Hehe, for real, it taste really crispy and because the rice crackers is not very tasty.
As in it's abit blend, so when you eat it together with the prawn tempura,
It's just so niceeeeeeeeeeeee.
To the max best partners sia I think.
Like eating healthy potato chips but in a different kind of shape.
Hehe, very tasty and unique taste!

Next next,
Mushroom Kimuchi Tofu(Fried beancurd, assorted mushroom with kumuchi sauce)


K, because I'm a tofu lover, this is like the best appetizer among all the new appetizer dishes.
hehe, love tofu alot man (:
Some more this fried tofu is like fried skin but inside still so soft and nice :3 :3
I super appreciate people who does all these nice food.
Like fry the tofu why is the inside part still so soft and tender.
Oh my tien (inserts many many hearts)
Opps, digress.
sorry, back to this dish.
Look at the sauce, it's thick and rich.
Look at the tofu, it's fried with tender inside.
Look at the mushrooms, all kinds of them, dipped inside the sauce.
Very hao chi dish, love it cause of the tofu and everything!!
Hao chi Hao chi Hao chi, Hor chiat.
Sushi Platter !!!

Very exciting one leh when you know it's coming but you just have to wait for it.
So, here goes, the awesome new sushi(s) for the new upcoming menu !!



Sakae Candle(Avocado Japanese cucumber, crabmeat, shrimp roe, codfish roe and mayonnaise)


Aburi Salmon Teriyaki(Half broiled salmon with teriyaki sauce)
Unagi Shitake Gunkan(River eel, Japanese mushroom)
Salmon Mayo Mentai Inari(Salmon, Codfish roe and mayonnaise)
Hotate Mentai Maki(Scallop, codfish roe and rice crackers)
Unagi Cracker Mentai(River eel, Japanese cucumber, codfish roe and rice crackers)
Hotate Sushi(Scallop, lobster salad and rice crackers)

They all taste very good.
With all the diifferent unique taste, flavours, decorations, styles.
They all look so good and taste yummy.
A pity I didn't take a photo of each sushi so I can talk more about each one.
But trust me, I wouldn't lie when it comes to food.
They are really nice.

It was a very good experience for me at the tasting event this October.
I had the privilege to attend this food tasting event, I'm really happy.

This November, I went to Sakae twice.
One time with my sister for buffet and the other with little cow.

Let's talk about the dinner I had with little cowzxc.
We went to the Tampines' outlet (yet again, I know I know)
So very usual lo, he ordered his
Teriyaki Don

While I ordered some side orders.

Soba
Ikura Sushi(The most yummy thing ever, ever)

Sakae BlossomThis dish is too pretty to be eaten!
The first time when I saw this dish, I immediately fell in love with it's appealing outlook.
Sakae Blossom not only have this awesome appealing, pretty outlook,
it also taste super yummy!
It feels like everything melts in your mouth because everybody knows salmons goes very well with the rice and fish roe. Hehehe
love it !


Sakae Salad (If I'm not wrong)
Because I love soba so much, this dish, I just love it lo.
Hehe, somemore with all the ingredients altogether, it goes very well!!
I like the crispy thing that you see at the left hand side in the picture.
The brown one. It taste very crispy and hehehe very nice.
Even though there's no sauce to go with the soba like the usual soba sauce,
It still taste very nice, not very blend, just nice because of the other ingredients!
Such a clever and healthy dish, hehe.
Salmon CarpaccioA very nice appetizer, makes you crave for more.



I forgot what's this pretty dish called and and I can't find it in the menu !!

Sakae CandleLike I've mentioned in the above post for Sakae candle, it's really yummy.

We went out together that day for window shopping.
Than followed by Sakae !
We had buffet that day and I really think it's very worth it.
You can eat many many things haha, super full and contented.


We picked alot of the coloured plates because that's what covered in the buffet.


This is like wasabi sushi.
We didnt know so we just took it and try.
Spicy and hot sia, hahahahah

We ordered many many plates :3


We ordered one ale carte,
Ikura OreshiCause I need to have ikura for every sakae meal, love it too much.
hehe. I'm very happy that they have ikura oreshi !!
Cause i think for a period of time, i couldn't find this on the menu than very sad ):
Super yummy Ikura !! hehe.


We really had a great time at Sakae Sushi that day.
The buffet was awesome, fulling ttm.
We're super contented and satisfied ! Hehe :33
We had super loads of plates, damn full can.
